CSKA Moscow faces a game almost "life and death", after falling precipitously against Roma (5-1) in the first round of Group E of the Champions League, Bayern Munich before a rising Pep Guardiola and passing as one of the favorites to win the title.

Unfortunately for the Moscow team, the game will be played without an audience, and that UEFA has decided to punish the Russian fans who staged the unrest two weeks ago on Italian soil.

However, the crew of the Russian Army has already passed the trough in early season and after harvest several consecutive victories, has climbed to second place in the Russian league.

In a dramatic match, CSKA defeated the modest weekend Ural (3-4) with two goals from Ivorian Doumbia, who scored the winning goal in the last minute.

Meanwhile, Guardiola's team should monitor very closely Doumbia, a very fast and not without technical quality striker, who seems to have recovered his fitness after several injuries.

Bayern go into the match against CSKA at a time when the team seems to have found himself, despite some major injury concerns as Thiago Alcantara, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Franck Ribery.

Pep Guardiola, with the rest of the staff and the arrival of Xabi Alonso, has assembled a team that is showing defensive line and at least in the last two matches, effectiveness in front of goal.

The attacking quartet of Arjen Robben, Thomas Müller, Mario Götze and Robert Lewandowski looks increasingly attuned. The weapon is primarily the mobility of the four, which constantly change positions which usually causes disorder in opposing defenses. In midfield, Xabi Alonso has become the hub and the link between defense and attack.

Apart from that, the concern that the team took on the trip to Moscow is about the psychological effects that can produce a game without public sanction by hanging over CSKA.
